Orthodox Easter 2028 falls on Sunday, April 16, 2028. Because the Orthodox Church computes Pascha with the Julian paschalion rather than the Gregorian calculation used in the West, the two Easters usually fall on different Sundays.

Why the Orthodox date differs
Both East and West keep the Nicene rule: the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox. The Orthodox Church still measures that equinox and full moon on the Julian calendar, now thirteen days behind the civil calendar, and never celebrates Pascha before Passover.
