Apostles' Fast 2027
Apostles' Fast 2027
Monday, June 28, 2027 – Monday, June 28, 2027
The Apostles' Fast begins the Monday after All Saints Sunday and ends before the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul on June 29. Its length changes every year with the date of Pascha.
In 2027 the Apostles' Fast lasts 1 day, from Monday, June 28, 2027 to Monday, June 28, 2027. Old Calendar parishes end the fast on July 11 civil (June 28 Julian), so their fast is thirteen days longer.
Fasting rules at a glance
- Wine and Oil Allowed — 1 day
"Strict Fast" means no meat, dairy, eggs, fish, wine or oil; "Wine and Oil Allowed" and "Fish Allowed" relax that rule. Follow your parish and spiritual father's guidance — see the Orthodox fasting guide for what can be eaten.
